Field Visits

| Several times each semester, participants will go on professional field trips to state and local government offices to experience first-hand current issues in public policy and management. Agencies that we have visited in the past include the Lexington-Fayette Urban County government, the Kentucky State government, Kentucky League of Cities, Kentucky World Trade Center, Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and the Louisville Metro Government. We attempt to customize professional field trips to meet the interests of current program participants We also provide opportunities for field trips to governments and agencies outside of the state of Kentucky, such as Chicago, Illinois, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, GA. Additional costs apply for these extended field trips. |
