Dwight Denison is Professor of Public and Nonprofit Finance at the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at University of Kentucky and the Director of Graduate Studies for the Masters in Public Policy and Masters in Public Administration programs. His research interests include financial management, municipal finance, and tax administration. He is also interested in the financing of the not-for-profit sector. His research has been published in various books and journals including: National Tax Journal, Public Finance Review, Public Administration Review, Public Budgeting and Finance, Municipal Finance Journal, Transportation Quarterly, and the Journal of Nonprofit Management. He has served as a public-finance consultant to many well-known organizations including Citizen's Budget Commission, Council of State Governments, and Financial Guaranty Insurance Company. Prior to joining the Martin School, he spent eight years on the faculty at the Wagner School at New York University.
