Financial aid for our graduate students comes in several forms: Teaching, Research or Graduate Assistantships- that is, money that the student works for; loans - money that must be repaid, and scholarships or fellowships - money that is given to the student. Financial support is usually awarded on an academic year basis. Qualified full-time students are selected on the basis of academic achievements, test scores, and in some cases financial need. Unless otherwise indicated, students need not apply for internal funding as all eligible students will be considered. Further information on external scholarships is sent out regularly from the Student Affairs Office.
